Project Manager (Insurtech)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the pre-launch and post-launch activities for our InsurTech product in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will oversee regulatory compliance (MD status), payment gateway integration, platform partnerships, and cross-functional coordination to ensure a successful launch of our online insurance platform, enabling customers to purchase insurance seamlessly.
This role requires strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and regulatory application drafting skills, along with the ability to work closely with tech, marketing, and customer service teams to deliver a customer-centric platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Launch Phase
1)Malaysia MD (Malaysia Digital) Status Application
- Lead the MD status application process, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Draft and submit proposals and decks.
- Coordinate with external regulators, internal tech teams, and compliance officers to fulfill application requirements.
2)Payment Gateway Integration
- Manage the end-to-end application and integration process with payment gateway providers.
- Oversee API connectivity testing, troubleshooting, and go-live monitoring.
- Work with tech development teams to ensure seamless integration with the InsurTech platform.
3)Platform Partner Coordination (Voucher System & Partnerships)
- Lead the implementation of voucher systems and partnerships with third-party platforms.
- Draft partnership proposals and ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Coordinate between external partners and internal module owners for smooth execution.
4)Internal Team Coordination
- Marketing: Monitor pre-launch campaigns, branding, and customer acquisition strategies.
- IT Development: Track progress on tech deliverables (app/web development, security, UAT).
- Customer Service: Prepare training materials, FAQs, and support workflows for post-launch operations.
Post-Launch Phase
- IT Enhancements: Oversee platform improvements, bug fixes, and feature updates, coordinating with IT teams to ensure stability and scalability.
- Customer Support Optimization: Refine support workflows, update FAQs, and address customer feedback to enhance user satisfaction.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor ongoing compliance with Malaysias regulations, managing audits and renewals.
- Performance Tracking: Track KPIs (e.g., adoption, transactions) and report insights to management for strategic improvements.
- Partnership Expansion: Optimize voucher systems and expand third-party partnerships to boost platform reach.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in InsurTech, FinTech, or e-commerce industries.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects, including regulatory applications and technology integrations.
- Experience with payment gateway integrations and API-driven projects.
- Familiarity with Malaysias regulatory landscape, particularly MD status or similar compliance requirements, is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams.
- Ability to draft clear, professional proposals and presentations for regulators and partners.
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is highly desirable.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
