QA Engineer

About the RoleHARIMIC Malaysia is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to strengthen our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will ensure product quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement across our operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures in line with company and regulatory standards.

• Conduct inspections, testing, and documentation reviews to ensure product and process compliance.

• Support automation projects, equipment qualification, and validation activities.

• Investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, QC, R&D, Engineering) to resolve quality issues.

• Prepare reports, maintain quality records, and ensure compliance with ISO and customer requirements.

• Participate in internal audits, supplier audits, and regulatory inspections.

• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related function (an added advantage).

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant quality standards (an added advantage).

• Strong understanding of quality tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC, etc. (an added advantage).

• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

• Experience in equipment validation, process control, or automation (an added advantage).

• Hands-on experience with statistical analysis tools (an added advantage).

• Certification as a Competent Person for Scrubber (an added advantage).
