PCI Private Limited is looking for an experienced Senior Commodity Specialist to join our Supply Base Management department, focusing on VA/VE activities and sourcing for Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical components. This position is a 1-year contract role, placed under an Employment Agency.

Responsibilities:

1. Source Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical components to support new projects.
2. Perform cost analysis and select the best supplier to meet product requirements.
3. Manage relationships with suppliers regarding all commercial issues.
4. Conduct cost reduction, VA/VE activities to achieve KPIs such as material cost reduction.
5. Implement supply management strategies like VMI, JIT, EDI capabilities.
6. Act as the escalation point for delivery issues during MP and NPI stages.
7. Manage SAP data integrity.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Engineering or related field.
2. 2-3 years of experience in EMS or electronic manufacturing environment.
3. Experience in sourcing, purchasing, or procuring Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical components.
4. Strong knowledge of Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical commodities.
5. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
