Quality Executive

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implementing the quality control and safety for incoming and outgoing material including item information, COA and testing plan.

  • Manage quality systems of the plant and ensure all the required procedures, documents, PRP program are in line with internal and customers defined requirements not limited to FSSC 22000, HACCP, HALAL and Non-GMO.

  • Maintain accurate and organized quality records, including test reports, audit findings etc.

  • Assisting in analyzing quality data to identify the trends and potential areas for improvement. Generate and submit monthly reports in timely manner.

  • Develop and update quality procedure, work instruction and documentation.

  • Manage the equipment sanitation buyoff for operation related.

  • Manage annual internal audit and assist in supplier audits.

  • Assist in customer complaints investigations and corrective actions plan related to the raw materials and finished products.

  • Manage the COA management for the FG.

  • Assist in training and familiarizing new Quality employees.

  • Managing the laboratory operations and implementing good laboratory practice to ensure the laboratory operations and practices are upheld.

  • Ensures to report if detected any quality or food safety issue and participate in resolving it.

  • Carry out ad hoc task as instructed by superior.

  • Ensure Compliance with Safety Standards - Implement and maintain safety requirements in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Food Safety Team Responsibilities - Actively contribute as a member of the Food Safety Team by coordinating and enhancing food safety measures. Promptly report any detected quality or food safety issues to the supervisor and assist in resolving them.

  • Ethical and Regulatory Compliance - Uphold high ethical standards and adhere to all applicable regulations and company guidelines.

  • Process Improvement - Continuously identify opportunities to improve work processes and implement relevant enhancements.

  • Staffing and Development (Applicable for Senior Executives and above) - Assess staffing requirements, evaluate employee performance, and promote training and professional growth initiatives.

  • Other Responsibilities - Perform additional tasks or assignments as directed by the immediate superior or management.

Educational & Professional Background

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Quality Systems role.

  • Experience in Quality systems in food industry is an added advantage.

  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu, both written and spoken.

  • Preferable degree holder or above.

  • Intermediate computer skills, including using the office software (such as excel and Microsoft word).
