QAQC & Service Technician
Job Responsibilities: Email
- Monitored and managed by QAQC supervisor
- Conduct in-process checking, referring to the in-process checklist form that includes:
- Project panel specification (Visual and physical)
- Component and breaker arrangement
- Component and breaker rating detail
- Nameplate arrangement
- Work closely with QAQC supervisor to perform factory routine tests to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
- Assist supervisor in conducting factory acceptance tests with project engineering and client.
- Monitor and clear any punch list recorded during factory acceptance.
- Assist QAQC supervisor in ensuring panels have been cleaned and touched up before packing for delivery.
- Update any changes on the ICM & DCI drawing to be sent to project engineer for as-built drawing.
- Other duties and tasks given by management from time to time.
- Report to QAQC & SERVICE HOD
- Monitored and managed by site engineer
- Assist service team if more manpower is required on site for testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of switchboard systems to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
- Assist service team if site team lacks knowledge of new technology of switchgear at the factory.
- Other duties and tasks given by management from time to time.
- Electrical engineering diploma in electrical power or equivalent; technical competency in electrical background will be an advantage.
- 1 year experience as a service technician, electrical technician, or similar role in the electrical industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical switchboard components and relevant safety protocols will be an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to travel to customers site if required.
- Have a valid driving license.
- Fresh graduates in electrical background are welcome to apply.
