Managing Simic product engineering area in Back-end Subcon

Job Description In your new role you will:

• Managing Simic product engineering area in Back-end Subcon in terms of:
  • Take ownership for product/package yield/quality and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Interface for Engineering topics to support IFX product engineering in Unisem Chengdu.
  • First contact for product engineering topics and escalations by subcon.
• In depth analysis of product (Design/FE), assembly and test related issues, drive/feedback to relevant parties for continuous improvement. Need to be familiar with the data analysis tools and grasp certain kinds of deep analysis to reflect actual production performance.
• Drive/coordinate improvement activities between FE/Assy/Test/Customer. Need to have certain knowledge for FE fab/assembly process and master in test area. Could dig out the potential root cause between FE/Assy and testing area if encountered some issues during production.
• Hold lot release and deviation management, ensure shipped product complies with specifications.
• Be part of New Product Ramp team and manage safe launch:
  • Drive new subcon enabling (technical & Supply Chain & IT).
  • Assess and implement product changes/transfers including trainings to the subcon engineering.
  • Support test related topics in PCRB, project milestones.
• Co-work with other stakeholders (planning/quality/subcons/etc) closely to ensure the product health meets IFX requirements in terms of yield/quality/cycle time/delivery/etc.
• Manage test related documentation:
  • Review and update Control Plan and test procedures to align with IFX requirements.
  • Test Procedures and Specs, Product Change Notices (PCN), Engineering Change Notices (ECN), Quality Systems.
  • Test Data transfer from subcon to EBS.
• Independently handle FAR activities including analysis of root cause and improvement actions in subcon.
• Engage and contribute to IFX design/change reviews and provide inputs on key learnings/improvements to incorporate on new products.

Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• More than 7 years of working experience in Engineering + semiconductor background.
• Good at data analysis tools to do real-time production data analysis to come out production performance and commonality result.
• Good understanding of FE/assembly process to cater for production issue root cause identification.
• Final Test Equipment, Process and Methodology experience/know-how.
• Knowledge and experience on Test Systems and programs (Visual ATE, UNIX, C++, SAP) and various functional interfaces.
• Interfaces with PE, TDE, Production Logistics & Planning, Quality Management and Subcons.
• Program Management, Project Management, Project Leader skills.
• Customer and Service oriented.
