Procurement Manager

Job Purpose:

Responsible for conducting credit research and analysis on potential issuers to be included into Universe of Corporate Bond (“UoCB”) and to continuously monitor existing issuers in UoCB for any credit events. Strategize and implement initiatives to enhance productivity and create a positive and conducive work environment.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Credit Analysis

• To conduct detailed credit research and analysis on potential new issuers to assess their suitability for inclusion in the UoCB. This includes evaluating their financial stability, market position and risk factors to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their creditworthiness.

2. Credit Management

• To carry out regular and comprehensive evaluations of existing issuers within the UoCB, ensuring that no adverse credit events compromise their financial health. This includes assessing changes in credit ratings, analysing financial reports and monitoring market developments to proactively identify and mitigate risks.

3. Collaboration

• Collaborate with other investment professionals, analysts and support staff to ensure effective communications and coordination of investment activities and contribute to the development of broader investment strategies and initiatives.

4. Risk Management

• Stay vigilant on daily financial market trends and consistently provide insightful market updates during investment meetings to ensure the investment team remains well-informed and proactive in response to dynamic market conditions.

5. Performance Analysis

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of fixed income and money market portfolios against benchmarks and goals.

• Conduct in-depth performance analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend adjustments to enhance overall portfolio returns.

6. To undertake any additional assignment as instructed by LTAT.

Requirements:

a. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or any relevant field.

b. MBA, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder or any equivalent qualification would be an added advantage.

c. At least 5-7 years of experience in asset management industry with exposure to credit research.
