Operations Manager

A well-established Malaysian company based in Penang, with a strong presence in the wholesale and retail sector is looking for Operations Manager to oversees all aspects of warehouse, logistics and transport operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Planning an efficient warehouse management, including flow, FIFO, goods movement, storage and loading; focusing on cold temperature requirement and safety.
• Maintenance of the warehouse cold room in continuous working condition and a proper planning of Business continuity.
• Ensure compliance of ISO and food safety standards compliance and implementation.
• Loading Bay flow control and management
• Goods incoming and outgoing transportation management.
• Trucking and goods delivery/distribution route planning management
• Car, Truck & Container flow, and Parking management.
• Building & MEP (Mechanical, Electrical Process, Water and Cold room system and equipment) predictive and preventive maintenance planning.
• Maintenance and Operational OpEx Budget planning and execution
• Defects and Warranty management.
• Cold Trucks, Reach-truck and Forklifts maintenance and management

Job Requirements

• Experience in efficient warehouse management, optimum inventory management, distribution route planning and transportation management
• Knowledge in food safety standards, cold chain logistics and product handling
• Proficient in high goods movement arrangement

• Familiar with domestic trucking arrangement
