FP&A Manager

The FP&A Manager will oversee financial planning, reporting, and analysis to drive business performance in the FMCG industry. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur and requires expertise in financial management and strategic insights.

Description

• Ensure accurate cost forecasting and reporting within the finance system
• Oversee timely closing of cost, P&L, and cash flow, identifying and addressing any gaps promptly
• Analyze actual costs versus rolling forecasts across various service lines and collaborate on action plans
• Provide clear insights on forecasts, risks, and opportunities during financial review meetings
• Maintain and enhance allocation rules for cost cross-charging, ensuring compliance with tax regulations
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal control policies
• Support SLA, RSLA, and integration charter processes
• Collaborate with service lines to design KPIs aligned with global strategies
• Assist in KPI automation projects, including data logic design and testing
• Consolidate and analyze KPIs to drive service line improvements
• Coordinate document reviews and updates for policies and standard operating procedures

Profile

A successful FP&A Manager should have:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in business planning and expense control
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP R/3 is a plus
