Compliance Specialist (中英双语)

This job is a Compliance Specialist, making sure our domain name registration is legal and safe. You might like this job because youll solve disputes, investigate abuses, and protect personal data, all while supporting a dynamic team!

• Ensure that company as a domain name registrar complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) policies, including the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP).
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations when handling registrants personal information and disclosure request from law enforcement agencies.
• Complaint and Dispute Handling:
• Investigate and manage complaints and disputes related to domain name, such as abuse, spamming, intellectual property violations, and fraudulent activities, etc.
• Handle reports from various sources, including the online reporting system, email, Registry and Registrar partners, etc.
• Using the automated scan system to detect potential phishing, fraud, intellectual property violations or cybersquatting domain names, to ensure early detection of suspicious domain fraudulent activities and mitigate risks before escalating into legal issues or disputes as required.
• Assist department manager to address UDRP complaints and other domain-related legal disputes.
• Adhoc matters:
• Prepare and submit required reports to superiors on the companys domain name abuse activities as required.
• Maintain comprehensive records of standard operating procedures of handling domain name abuse including investigations, and corrective actions as required.
• Any other matters as requested by the team leader or department manager.

Qualifications:

• Academic: at least a diploma or degree majoring in business, administration, marketing, compliance or risk related;
• Software knowledge: good at Microsoft office
• Working Experience: at least 2 years
• Language: fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate with stakeholders
