Automation Solution Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Collect necessary data for automation solution design, conduct site visits (if required) to assess customer environments.

• Develop automation flow and layout designs based on customer requirements, ensuring optimal material handling efficiency.

• Create automation solution for AGVs, AMRs, 4-way shuttles, and tote picking systems, integrating them into existing customer operations.

• Work closely with sales teams to understand customer pain points and translate them into tailored automation solutions.

• Prepare and present compelling solution proposals, including concept layouts, system architecture, and ROI calculations.

• Collaborate with internal engineering, project management, and execution teams to ensure solution feasibility and seamless handover post-sale.

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in automation technologies and recommend improvements to existing solutions.

• Provide technical / product support and address inquiries related to solutions.

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of AGV, AMR, 4-way shuttles, tote picking systems, and warehouse automation technologies is a plus.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools for layout and flow design.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop efficient and scalable automation solutions.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills and well versed in English and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

• Willingness to travel for site visits and customer meetings as needed.

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Mechatronic / Automation Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.

• Preferably with 1-3 years in relevant working experience
