The role

Horizon Consulting Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Technical to join our team in Petaling Jaya Selangor. As an IT Technical, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and IT services to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of their technology infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and other IT equipment

• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and applications

• Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner

• Provide training and guidance to users on the use of IT systems and applications

• Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements

• Maintain accurate records of IT incidents and resolutions

• Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry best practices

What were looking for

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar IT Technical or IT Support role

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and security concepts

• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining various operating systems and applications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Certification in relevant IT disciplines (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) is preferred
