AUDIT ASSISTANT

About the role

As an Audit Assistant at XY KHOO & CO, you will be an integral part of the team, supporting the delivery of high-quality audit services to our diverse client base. This full-time position is based in Ipoh, Perak, where you will contribute to the growth and success of our Accounting practice.

What youll be doing

• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements, ensuring adherence to professional standards and client requirements
• Perform detailed audit procedures, including data analysis, document review, and testing of internal controls
• Collaborate with the audit team to document findings, identify risks, and recommend improvements
• Contribute to the preparation of audit reports and deliverables for clients
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and audit practices
• Provide excellent client service and act as a trusted advisor to our valued clients

What were looking for

• Relevant degree in Accounting or a related field, with a strong academic record
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an audit or assurance role, preferably in a professional services firm
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify key issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and team members
• Proficient in the use of audit software and data analysis tools
• A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional client service
