Assistant Architect, Interior Designer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Assistant Architect and Interior Designer to join our dynamic team at Hon Architecture Sdn Bhd. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing design support and contributing to the creation of innovative architectural and interior design solutions for our diverse range of clients. Based in our Petaling Jaya, Selangor office, this role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and collaborate with a passionate team of design professionals.

What youll be doing

• Assisting architects and interior designers in developing conceptual designs, schematics, and construction documentation

• Producing 2D and 3D design visualisations, models, and renderings to effectively communicate design ideas

• Conducting research, site analyses, and feasibility studies to support the design process

• Coordinating with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met

• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies to inform design decisions

• Contributing to the overall success of projects by demonstrating a collaborative and solution-oriented approach

What were looking for

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or Interior Design

• 1-3 years of experience in an architectural or interior design role, preferably in a similar industry. Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, and 3D software.

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate conceptual ideas into practical design solutions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members

• A keen eye for detail, a creative mindset, and a passion for design
