About the role

At the Skywhale Swimming Academy in Puchong, Selangor, we are seeking talented full-time or part-time Swim Teachers to join our growing team. As a Swim Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Your passion for teaching and dedication to water safety will be instrumental in helping our swimmers develop their skills and confidence in the pool.

What youll be doing

  • Delivering engaging and structured swimming lessons tailored to the needs of individual students
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students in the pool at all times
  • Providing feedback and guidance to help students progress in their swimming abilities
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
  • Collaborating with the swim academy team to continuously improve the quality of our programs
  • Actively participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your teaching skills

    • What were looking for

  • Passion for teaching and a strong commitment to water safety
  • Previous experience as a swim teacher or instructor, preferably in a similar setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students of all ages
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other swim teachers and staff
  • Current swimming instructor certification or willingness to obtain one
  • Flexible and adaptable to accommodate various class schedules and student needs
