Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) is a cloud-native architecture that unifies SD-WAN with security functions like SWG, CASB, FWaaS, and ZTNA into one service using Palo Alto Prisma Access.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the Palo Alto Prisma environment
• Evaluate and configure firewall and proxy policy requests
• Handle Requests, Incidents, Changes, and Problems (ServiceNow)
• Manage functions like IDS, Malware Detection, and SSL-interception
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls
• Configure and maintain site-to-site VPN connections
• Communicate with internal departments, external companies, and vendors
• Collaborate with global network/security teams in London, New York, and Singapore
• Maintain certificates within the SASE environment
• Open and track vendor tickets
• Maintain and troubleshoot remote access for the bank in cooperation with workplace and vendors
• Provide 1st and 2nd level support to customers
• Coordinate video streaming events with workplace and Palo Alto Networks
• Contribute as an effective team player in an agile environment
• Participate in rotational on-call support during Germanys off-business hours

Qualifications:

• Relevant professional training or qualifications in networking or computer studies
• 2-5 years of professional experience in Network Security and Firewalls
• Understanding of Network Security principles and best practices
• Knowledge of network theory and services (TCP/IP, UDP/IP, OSI layers, DNS, DHCP)

Professional Skills:

• Experience with SASE environments (preferably Palo Alto Prisma)
• Management of Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama
• User-based authentication in proxy environments (Active Directory)
• Remote Access expertise
• Knowledge of Network Protocols
• SD-WAN experience
• Supporting high availability infrastructure
• Cloud technologies
• IT infrastructure documentation skills

• Good communication and analytical skills, enjoyment in solving complex problems and learning new topics
• Willingness to participate in on-call services
• This role is based in Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang.
