Senior Commodity Analyst
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Be a source of expertise in Global Sourcing and Procurement processes.
Design or improve processes working closely with other functions and Procurement stakeholders to come to the best solutions.
Lead small-medium negotiations and sourcing projects.
Develop and deliver analytics to the Global Commodity Managers and Procurement management.
Monitor market trends and assess potential risks and opportunities.
Create and finalize NDAs and other contracts with suppliers.
Create and lead eSourcing events including set-up and supplier communication on behalf of the Global Direct Procurement Team.
Investigate and resolve issues effectively to sustain Global Sourcing and Procurement operational excellence.
Participate in and support audits as needed.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelors or equivalent degree
>4 years in Procurement, Operations Strategy, or Supply Chain Management.
Experience in supply chain functions such as planning, procurement, manufacturing, quality, etc.
Ability to manage several projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the confidence to deliver strong guidance and messaging to both peers and leaders.Ability to work independently, and a proactive approach is essential.
Strategic business-acumen and ability to see the big picture.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:Strong analytical skills including the ability to quickly synthesize, distill and draw conclusions on large amounts of disparate data.Knowledge and experience with Procurement applications (e.g., Oracle, e-RFx, e-Auction, Ariba, P2P).
