Sales Account Manager - Based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

About the role

Hilti (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is looking for a passionate and results-driven Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team. This full-time role, based in Sabah, offers an exciting opportunity to drive business growth while fostering strong relationships with our valued customers.

What youll be doing

• Engage with a minimum of 6 - 8 customers daily at various construction sites to build strong relationships and provide on-the-ground support.

• Conduct at least one impactful product demonstration each day to showcase solutions and drive customer value

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customer service

• Participate in sales planning and strategy development to contribute to the overall growth of the business

• Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular performance reports

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and Hiltis product and service offerings

What were looking for

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the construction or building materials industry

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers

• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills to handle customer queries and concerns effectively

• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable with using customer relationship management (CRM) tools

• Flexible and adaptable to changing customer needs and market conditions

• Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel within your assigned territory
