PAR, Consumer Portfolio Analyst

Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of portfolio risk reports on a timely and accurate basis for senior management (including Board Risk, Credit Committees, and Regulators) and Group office. Ensure timely escalation to the Senior Management on asset quality issues of the portfolios and/or any deviation from the pre-set risk thresholds, triggers, and budget to the respective stakeholders.
2. Work closely with stakeholders including Risk partners, Collections, and Business partners to identify stress segments or pockets of opportunities to support risk and return strategies.
3. Tracking of new product rollout to monitor the performance and success level of these initiatives.
4. Support data infrastructure development initiatives within the department including data migration, data validation, and datamart development.
5. Involve in Risk Scorecard strategy, monitoring, and periodic assessment to ensure effectiveness and predictiveness of the scorecard is still intact.
6. Participate in process/system enhancements and digitalization projects, if any.
7. Explore and review alternative data to support and enhance the credit decisioning process. Proactively explore and recommend data analysis tools/data infrastructure enhancements to meet the Banks digital aspirations.

Qualifications:

1. At least 2-5 years of working experience in the banking industry.
2. Possess a recognized Degree in Business Studies/Statistical or other related disciplines.
3. Knowledgeable in SAS, SQL, or Python.
4. Strong in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
5. Have data extraction and mining capabilities and with strong analytical skills.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Possess Consumer product knowledge and working experience in Credit Risk MIS and/or business analytical area are added advantages.
