Manufacturing Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and hands-on Manufacturing Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for executing daily production start-up checks, performing detailed inspections and calibrations, and supporting the ongoing maintenance and functionality of production line equipment and tools. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring product quality and equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily start-up checks for production line equipment, including:

    • Soldering iron temperature verification.

    • Electrical screwdriver torque validation.

    • Other machinery and tool readiness checks.

  • Perform 100% PCBA-level inspection and execute program flashing using computers for both base and application programs.

  • Carry out calibration of semi-finished materials or finished goods using designated calibration rigs.

  • Execute scheduled line and equipment maintenance, adhering to preventive maintenance plans and safety standards.

  • Serve as the liaison with the Quality Department for equipment/instrument calibration needs:

    • Coordinate and arrange for items requiring calibration.

    • Ensure timely delivery and return from Quality.

  • Manage inventory and control of equipment spare parts, auxiliary materials, and tools, including replacements and replenishments.

  • Support and execute additional tasks as instructed by supervisors or management to meet production needs.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with PCBA inspection and program flashing procedures.

  • Understanding of calibration methods and usage of calibration rigs.

  • Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills for production line equipment.

  • Able to read and interpret technical documentation and work instructions.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.

  • Good organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
