Junior Surveyor

The Role:

As a Junior Surveyor, you will assist senior surveyors in gathering and analyzing land data to support accurate mapping and site planning. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in surveying techniques and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting land and site surveys using modern surveying equipment, such as GPS and total stations.

• Collect, process, and analyze field data to create accurate maps and reports.

• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of survey results and site conditions.

• Help research exploration records, maps, and other historical documents.

• Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and project managers to ensure project specifications are met.

• Ensure all surveying activities comply with safety protocols and industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• A Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Surveying or a related field.

• Familiarity with surveying tools and software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or GIS is beneficial.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Sabahan is preferred.

• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail, are essential.

• The role requires the ability to work in a team and potentially in various weather conditions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.

• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team in remote and challenging field environments.

• Valid drivers license and ability to operate a 4x4 vehicle.
