Junior Geologist

Responsibilities:- Lead and execute geological field programs, including mapping, sampling, and drill hole planning and logging.- Analyze and interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical data to identify and evaluate potential coal/mineral deposits.- Utilize specialized geological software to create 3D models of subsurface geology.- Prepare and present comprehensive technical reports and maps for both internal and external stakeholders.- Manage drilling campaigns, supervise contractors, and ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geophysicists, engineers, and environmental specialists.- Assess and mitigate geological risks associated with exploration activities.

Qualifications & Skills:- A Bachelors degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field is required.- Minimum 1 year of proven experience in coal/mineral exploration is preferable, particularly in field-based geological assessments.- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Sabahan is preferable. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.- Proficiency with geological software applications.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.- Willingness to work independently and as part of a team in remote and challenging field environments.- A strong commitment to safety and environmental protocols.- Valid drivers license and ability to operate a 4x4 vehicle.
