IT Infrastructure Engineer - Network

Whats the role? The Network Expert governs reliable and efficient network operations across regions. This role involves providing support for network issues, troubleshooting, and escalating to engineering teams when necessary.

Network Experts actively participate in global and regional projects, offering technical insights and implementation support, while also serving as a liaison with engineering teams to align on product and design changes. What does the role involve? The Network Expert in the IT Delivery team is involved in first and second level support for operation and complex network issues, including troubleshooting and escalation.

They manage network infrastructure such as WAN, Gateway, Network Authentication Control, core switches and server room, ensuring high availability and performance. Their role includes coordinating with vendors, handling incident and request management, and contributing to network-centric projects like tech refreshes and global network rollouts. They collaborate across regions, share knowledge, support onboarding, and align with engineering teams to drive efficiency, automation, and strategic improvements.

What you need is:

Minimum a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems / Technology Minimum 3 years working experience with Network operations / Engineering (LAN Switching and Routing) Understanding what IaC and declarative Infrastructure Proven track record in network engineering and project leadership Strong troubleshooting skills, familiarity with network tools (traceroute, SNMP, syslog, Wireshark) Basic understanding of network security and hardening principles Comfortable working within established network architectures and standards. Experienced in administering and maintaining Windows Workstation and Operating System. Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and enterprise monitoring platforms.
