GL Accountant

Manage the daily posting of financial transactions into the general ledger system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper supporting documentation.Maintain a strong internal control environment in line with the companys established control framework.Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all financial records comply with internal policies and regulatory standards.Execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities, including accruals and adjustments, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Perform thorough reconciliations of general ledger accounts during month-end close, investigating and resolving any discrepancies to ensure data integrity.Conduct detailed financial analysis of the balance sheet and income statement to identify anomalies, variances, or trends, providing insights to support informed decision-making.Partner with cross-functional teams including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and Treasury to ensure consistent and efficient integration of financial data.Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.Continuously enhance and maintain general ledger processes and procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with company policies. The Successful Applicant A successful GL Accountant should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in RTR/ GL or related accounting field Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the life science industry is preferred but not mandatory. Able to speak and write mandarin as candidate is required to serve mandarin speaking country Whats on Offer
