Customer Quality Engineer

Responsibilities :

  • Work with customers on quality objectives and goals to meet their demands for Quality

  • Use 8D methodology and other QC techniques to drive for corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement

  • Co-ordinates and manages customers audit in the factory

  • Conduct periodical audits to validate corrective and preventive actions submitted to the customers

  • Attend customer quality review meetings via teleconferencing or face to face on site

  • Provide site quality support to customers

  • Work with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve customer product related issues

  • Participate in ISO 9001 and TIATF 16949 Quality Management System audits

Requirements :

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Materials Engineering or equivalent

  • At least 3 years of working experience in the QA/QC related field is desirable

  • Possess good and effective communication skill with all levels with the organization, suppliers and customers

  • Posses good communication and analytical skills

  • Computer literate and well versed with Microsoft applications.

  • Able to travel when necessary
