BIM COORDINATOR (HIGH-RISE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION)

• Coordinate BIM implementation across all project stages, ensuring alignment with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).

• Manage and integrate 3D models from consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers into a federated model.

• Conduct clash detection, model validation, and coordination meetings using BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, Revit)

• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams on BIM-related issues.

• Maintain BIM documentation and ensure model compliance with industry and project standards.

• Collaborate with the design and construction teams to resolve spatial conflicts and optimize constructability.

• Monitor and update model progress in alignment with construction schedules (4D BIM).

• Assist in generating accurate shop drawings, quantity take-offs (5D), and as-built models.

• Support project handover with COBie or other data delivery formats where required.

• Ensure model accuracy, quality, and consistency through audits and reviews.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM coordination within high-rise building construction or main contractor

• Proficient in BIM software: Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD; knowledge of Dynamo, BIM 360, or similar is a plus.

• Familiarity with BIM standards and project delivery frameworks in Malaysia.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
