Software Engineer Intern (Paid Internship)

Hybrid (3 days Work From Office, 2 days Work From Home) | 3–6 Months

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Software Engineer Intern to work closely with our development team on a variety of technical and product-related initiatives. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in full-stack development, software design, and collaboration within an agile environment.

The internship will span between 3 to 6 months, depending on availability, with preference given to those who can commit to the full 6-month period. The working arrangement is hybrid.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

1. Team Collaboration: Work alongside developers, designers, and product stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and execution of tasks.
2. End-to-End Development: Assist in both frontend and backend development tasks, contributing to features from initial planning to deployment.
3. Backend Development: Support the development of APIs and backend logic using modern frameworks and best practices.
4. Frontend Development: Help build and maintain responsive, interactive user interfaces using component-based frontend frameworks.
5. Code Quality & Performance: Contribute to optimizing code for performance, readability, and maintainability.
6. Problem Solving & Initiative: Bring fresh ideas and solutions to the table by identifying areas for improvement and suggesting enhancements.
7. Agile Workflow: Participate in Agile processes such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews to stay aligned with the team and learn effective development practices.
8. Be a team player: Contribute positively to our collaborative and supportive team environment, fostering open communication and mutual respect.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Final-year students who can commit to a 6-month internship are preferred.
2. Technical Foundations: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Familiarity with modern frameworks like Vue.js or Laravel is a plus.
3. Positive Attitude: We value mindset over experience. If you’re proactive, take initiative, and are ready to face challenges, you’ll thrive in this role.
4. Willingness to Learn: Passionate about continuous learning and exploring new technologies such as Tailwind CSS, PostgreSQL, or cloud services.
5. Analytical Thinking: Strong logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
6. Collaboration: Able to communicate effectively and work well with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
