Senior GL Accountant

• Manage end-to-end General Ledger (GL) activities, including maintenance of master data, journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, CAPEX recording, cost allocations, and preparation of monthly reports.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate and timely posting of income and expenses.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to review accruals, intercompany transactions, allocations, and to address audit-related requests.
• Conduct thorough reconciliations of GL accounts and investigate any unresolved discrepancies.
• Handle all aspects of CAPEX accounting, including amortization, allocation, asset disposal, and preparation of relevant financial documentation.
• Maintain and manage fixed assets accounting processes.
• Support reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of financial data and reports.
• Exhibit a proactive attitude and adaptability in facing operational challenges.
• Participate in process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with corporate best practices.
• Experience in group consolidation is considered an advantage.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for balance sheet reviews.
• Perform intercompany accounting in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
• Safeguard sensitive financial data and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; candidates with partial or full professional certifications such as CIMA or ACCA are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 5-6 years of hands-on experience in full set accounting, including General Ledger reporting and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and their impact on GL reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with practical knowledge of pivot tables and essential formulas.
• Prior experience with systems such as SAP, Blackline, and BPC is highly desirable.
• Background in retail or direct selling industries is an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin are required.
