Regional Head of Communications

This role is pivotal in driving brand reputation, stakeholder trust, policy advocacy, and alignment of business messaging with corporate purpose and values. Key responsibilities include:

Local Communications

Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies to drive employee engagement, business reputation, and brand visibility. Advise local leadership on strategic messaging, manage internal communication platforms, and lead culture-building initiatives. Oversee media relations, press engagement, crisis preparedness, and public relations campaigns in line with global standards. Collaborate with agency partners to execute integrated campaigns and support communication during organizational change.

Regional Communications

Align regional communications strategies with global narratives and ensure consistent messaging across SEA markets. Lead cluster-wide campaigns supporting sustainability, innovation, and business transformation, in collaboration with key functions. Facilitate knowledge sharing and capability-building initiatives for in-country communications teams. Act as the SEA liaison for global communications, ensuring seamless coordination of messaging, campaigns, and crisis responses.

Strategic & Executive Communications

Craft compelling messaging, speeches, and executive narratives for both internal and external platforms. Act as spokesperson for the organization when appropriate and manage strategic content development across channels. Track media sentiment and reputational risks, ensuring timely responses and consistent brand voice. Embed corporate values and purpose into all communications to strengthen employee connection and external impact.

Corporate Affairs & Government Relations

Build and execute a public affairs strategy that fosters constructive relationships with government bodies, regulators, and trade associations. Monitor policy trends and regulatory shifts to shape engagement strategies that support business interests. Represent the company in industry forums, public policy discussions, and strategic advocacy platforms. Collaborate with internal and global stakeholders to ensure alignment in advocacy, compliance, and reputation risk management. The Successful Applicant We are looking for a strategic and experienced leader to lead communications strategy across local markets and the Southeast Asia region. Government relations and corporate affairs experience will be a strong advantage. Key requirements include: A degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. Proven expertise in managing regional communication strategies within the FMCG industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate teams effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience in managing complex projects and working with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in analyzing data to measure the success of communication campaigns. Knowledge of communication tools and platforms relevant to the role. Whats on Offer
