R&D Executive

REQUIREMENT

•Preferably candidates with Bachelors Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related background.

•Experienced in food manufacturing / R&D, but fresh graduates are welcomed to apply

•Good understanding on food safety and regulatory compliance (e.g. Malaysia Food Law & Food Regulations, HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000)

•Strong knowledge on sensory evaluation, food chemistry, ingredients and processing technologies

•Good analytical and problem-solving skills

•Possess strong teamwork and communication skills

•Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environment

JOB SCOPE / RESPONSIBILITIES

•Develop & formulate new food products based on market trends & company direction

•Improve existing products in terms of sensory attributes, stability and cost-effectiveness

•Prepare technical documents such as raw material / product specification, product ingredient list/label, nutrition facts, product process flow and shelf life list

•Conduct product stability study for new and existing products

•Work closely with Quality Control (QC) team for product quality related matters

•Responsible for conducting new products scale up from lab-scale to full production and trial runs

•Collaborate with Production team on production output, process flow improvement, etc

•Conduct research & analyze market trend study for new opportunities

•Work closely with Procurement team for new / alternative raw materials sourcing

•Liaise with external suppliers for laboratory analysis and lab equipment/instrument purchase
