Hotel Operations Executive

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process booking amendments to hotels as requested by Sales, ensuring adherence to timelines and SLAs. Follow up with hotels when necessary.
  • Accurately update confirmations and related information in the in-house system based on hotel feedback.
  • Monitor the live booking screen to ensure all bookings are confirmed within the expected lead time set by Sales.
  • Handle inquiries from the Sales team regarding hotel-related matters for live bookings.
  • Coordinate with hotel partners and/or other MIKI offices to provide timely responses to Sales.
  • Deliver additional important information about incoming groups or clients to hotels as required by Sales.
  • Investigate client-reported issues in detail, negotiate with hotel partners and Sales as needed, and prepare internal documentation for managerial approval.
  • Maintain the shared database and case reports relevant to the assigned region.
  • Track handover cases to ensure smooth continuation once earlier requests are completed.
  • Distribute general hotel-related information to relevant departments for validation and dissemination.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management, Business Administration, or at least 2 years of working experience in a similar service-related industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports.
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheet software and general computer applications.
  • Experience in information processing and analytical decision-making environments.
  • Willingness to work evening shifts and on a rotational basis during public holidays.
  • Knowledge and practical understanding of European destinations is an added advantage.
  • Candidates available on short notice or immediately are highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
