ABOUT

Lisbon Hotel Malacca is a 3-star hotel located in the Portuguese Settlement area of Malacca, Malaysia. It offers 48 rooms designed for comfort and convenience, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers

ROLE

Provide and excellent dining service to guests while ensuring a pleasant and efficient experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

1. Guest Service:

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Present menus and explain menu items or specials.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately.

2. Order Management:

  • Input orders into the POS (Point of Sale) system.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and correctly.

3. Table Maintenance:

  • Check on guests during meals to ensure satisfaction.
  • Refill drinks and clear dishes when needed.
  • Reset tables for the next guests.

4. Cleanliness & Setup:

  • Set up dining areas before service (e.g., place settings, condiments).
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables and service areas.
  • Follow hygiene and safety regulations.

5. Payment Handling:

  • Present the bill and handle payments (cash, credit, room charge, etc.).
  • Process receipts and ensure correct billing.

6. Customer Satisfaction:

  • Handle guest complaints or refer to supervisors.
  • Ensure a welcoming and positive guest experience.
  • Upsell menu items

SKILLS REQUIRES

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage items
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork and cooperation
  • Basic math and POS skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,600.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
