General Summary

The role of facility technician is to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of building/facility systems. To ensure that facility systems are maintained in functional condition and without interruption to production. Working under close supervision, assists in monitoring facility system operations and performance as well as maintaining necessary documentation.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for all facility-related equipment and building preventive maintenance, repairing, and servicing, including maintaining all related records and performing proper document filing and daily reports.
• Perform operational, preventive maintenance tasks, and corrective work as instructed and in accordance with the checklist.
• Attend to internal customer feedback, including emergency calls.
• Coordinate and supervise suppliers or contractors for facility-related works.
• Support spare parts inventory.
• Support scheduled waste inventory and operation.
• Perform 6s at the workplace.
• Perform facility round readings, routine inspections, and facilities equipment status updates.
• Follow up on facility instrument calibration.
• Follow up & support on NEBB cleanroom performance testing, genset, air emission, TOC, and compressed dry air monitoring reports.
• Contribute to cost saving and continuous improvement programs.
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Specification

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

• Certification in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Diploma in engineering/technology or equivalent (Min CGPA > 3.0).

Preferred Qualifications

• Wireman Certificate.
• Diploma in engineering/technology or equivalent (Min CGPA > 3.0).
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with safety & health / JKKP / DOE / ST law and regulation.
