Our client (Fastrain.com) is a global leader in optical communication, maritime communication, and EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services). Headquartered in Shenzhen with over 1,000 employees, the company operates manufacturing facilities and branches across Malaysia, Hong Kong, and other regions. With expanding operations in Malaysia, including two active factories (Perai) and a third under construction, the company is poised to become a regional production hub.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, talent development, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and compliance.
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the companys rapid growth and expansion plans in Malaysia.
• Partner closely with senior leadership and functional managers to support organizational design, workforce planning, and cultural integration.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with Malaysian labor laws and align with group headquarters.
• Manage end-to-end HR operations for a workforce of 500+ and growing.
• Play a key role in talent acquisition for manufacturing operations and build a high-performance HR team.
• Support localization efforts and cross-border HR coordination with headquarters in China.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or EMS environment.
• Mandarin speaking is mandatory, as frequent communication with the Chinese HQ and stakeholders is required.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, HR best practices, and talent development strategies.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and multicultural environment.
• Experience in scaling HR operations during business expansion is a strong advantage.
