DENTAL SURGERY ASSISTANT (ABLE TO WORK ON WEEKEND/FULLTIME)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Surgery Assistant to join the dynamic team at Dentco Smile Sdn Bhd in Kuching, Sarawak. This is a full-time position with the flexibility to work weekends. As a Dental Surgery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the dental professionals and ensuring the smooth running of the dental practice.

What youll be doing

• Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments, mixing materials, and maintaining a clean and organised work area

• Sterilising and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and work surfaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment

• Preparing treatment rooms by stocking supplies, setting up equipment, and ensuring everything is ready for each patients appointment

• Greeting patients, managing patient records, and scheduling appointments

• Providing excellent customer service and addressing patients needs and concerns

• Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed

• Assisting with other administrative tasks as required

• Responsible, Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and work collaboratively with the dental team

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively

• Proficient in using dental equipment and basic computer skills

• A genuine interest in dentistry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

• Flexibility to work weekends and weekdays as needed
