Demand Planner
To support the Manager in managing and co-ordinating the activities of our supply chain and its partners, optimizing the Companys efficiency and working capital while maintaining the service levels demanded by our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive monthly S&OP and forecast meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop a 12-month rolling demand forecast, incorporating market intelligence (promotions, phase in/phase out, new launches, discontinuations) from Sales and Marketing teams. Challenge the forecast as needed.
- Translate demand plan into supply plan for order placement to principals.
- Balance demand and supply needs of omni-channels, facilitate product allocation or product rebalancing as required.
- Reconcile supply plan with demand plan to mitigate shortfalls and excess stock situations for new launches, production shortages, or unforecasted demand spikes.
- Analyze and highlight business risks and opportunities to stakeholders and jointly propose mitigation plans.
- Conduct historical sales analysis and data cleansing to build statistical baseline forecasts.
- Develop and prepare monthly forecasting files, S&OP, and KPI reports.
- Participate in demand and supply planning projects.
- Have a tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of relevant working experience to perform the job effectively.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in supply chain or procurement industry.
- Experience collaborating with regulatory affairs groups to assess pending and new regulations, demonstrating the ability to manage complexity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
