Demand Planner

To support the Manager in managing and co-ordinating the activities of our supply chain and its partners, optimizing the Companys efficiency and working capital while maintaining the service levels demanded by our customers.

1. Drive monthly S&OP and forecast meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
2. Develop a 12-month rolling demand forecast, incorporating market intelligence (promotions, phase in/phase out, new launches, discontinuations) from Sales and Marketing teams. Challenge the forecast as needed.
3. Translate demand plan into supply plan for order placement to principals.
4. Balance demand and supply needs of omni-channels, facilitate product allocation or product rebalancing as required.
5. Reconcile supply plan with demand plan to mitigate shortfalls and excess stock situations for new launches, production shortages, or unforecasted demand spikes.
6. Analyze and highlight business risks and opportunities to stakeholders and jointly propose mitigation plans.
7. Conduct historical sales analysis and data cleansing to build statistical baseline forecasts.
8. Develop and prepare monthly forecasting files, S&OP, and KPI reports.
9. Participate in demand and supply planning projects.

1. Have a tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of relevant working experience to perform the job effectively.
2. At least 1 year of relevant experience in supply chain or procurement industry.
3. Experience collaborating with regulatory affairs groups to assess pending and new regulations, demonstrating the ability to manage complexity.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an advantage.
5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
6. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
