As an Associate, Procurement Operations, you are an essential member of the team, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our global procurement processes. In this role, your focus on streamlining the procurement lifecycle and implementing best practices will directly improve our operational scalability and cost control. Responsibilities
● Support the global organization with the end-to-end procurement operational process, including procure-to-pay (P2P) activities.
● Manage and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.
● Assist with the vendor onboarding process.
● Support sourcing events, including RFx (Request for Proposal/Quotation/Information) preparation and coordination.
● Provide administrative support for contract management, ensuring proper storage and tracking of agreements.
● Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders on procurement process inquiries and provide guidance and support.
● Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of procurement systems, tools, and documentation (e.g., SOPs, trackers).
● Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting on procurement metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure operational efficiency.
● Support the implementation and adherence to procurement policies and procedures across the organization.
● Collaborate with finance and other departments to resolve payment and other P2P-related issues.
● Support the budget reconciliation process to enable more accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
● Other tasks as assigned on an ad hoc basis to support the procurement function.
Skills and experience
● Degree holder, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
● Preferably 2-3 years of experience in procurement operations or similar role.
● Candidates with less working experience but with strong relevant internships or foundational knowledge may be considered for an entry-level position.
● Good understanding of end-to-end procurement processes (e.g., procure-to-pay, source-to-contract).
● Experience with procurement software (e.g., Oracle Fusion ERP) is highly desirable.
● Excellent command of written and spoken English.
● Able to converse, read, understand, and type Chinese Mandarin. (Need to communicate with Chinese fellow workers and suppliers.)
● Able to multi-task effectively, strong organisational skills and detail-oriented.
● Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
● Proactive, robust, pleasant, team player, with strong communication skills and strong sense of responsibility.
