Accounting Executive- Account Receivable

( Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia )

Your Mission

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the successful candidate for this key function will be to oversee the collection of customer accounts in a manner that ensures high customer satisfaction and loyalty. Communicate in an efficient yet friendly manner with customers, as well as the broader accounts receivable team .

What you will do

• Creating procedures and policies that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention

• Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within the company

• Reconciling complex accounts that have been escalated from the AR

• Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO

• Liaising closely with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team

• Complete special projects including new corporate initiatives.

• Perform various other tasks as assigned by superior such as “Loan Shark” meeting and others.

• Carry out other tasks as assigned by the superior of the management.

• Promote safe and healthy working environment within the compay

What we expect from you

• Bachelors degree requirement in a finance or business related field of study
• 5 years experience working within an accounts receivable and/or credit control environment
• Demonstrate natural leadership ability (extracurricular activities)
• High degree of computer literacy, especially SAP and Excel
• Fluency in English & Bahasa speaker strongly preferred.
• Fast learning and self-development : curiosity to learn
• Self-starter; highly motivated and able to work independently
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise a demanding workload
• Creativity and innovative approach in building and/or improving systems and processes
• Teamwork; ability to work in a multi-cultural and cross functional team-global mindset
Ability to adapt positively to a changing environment and proactively identify and resolve problems.
