Basic Job Functions:

Perform the companys regular accounting and compliance work.

Education/Experience:
  • Minimum BS/BA in Finance or Accounting
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA
  • 0 - 2 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment or audit firm
Required Skills/Competencies:
  • Aptitude for learning and utilizing systems
  • Hands-on approach
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
  • Good analytical mindset
  • Team player
  • Preferably with knowledge of local GAAP
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in major ERP systems, e.g., SAP, Oracle
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Handle daily invoice processing according to KPIs
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues daily
  • Communicate with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Review and follow up on AP aging report weekly
  • Review and follow up on GRIR aging report weekly
  • Perform vendor statement reconciliations
  • Prepare journal entries and ensure proper GL coding for monthly closing
  • Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and SOX controls
  • Adhere to Quality, Environment, Health and Safety, and Responsible Business policies
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
Physical Requirements:
  • Sit, stand, or walk short distances during shifts
  • Occasional stair climbing
  • Lift, push, or pull up to 27 pounds occasionally
  • Use hands frequently to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects
  • Visual acuity of 20/40 in each eye, with or without correction
  • Comply with safety standards and procedures
  • Reach above shoulder heights and below waist frequently
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, or bending
  • Wear personal protective equipment as required
  • Ability to wear a respirator if needed (minimal facial hair required)
