Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, including SMEs and corporate clients.
  • Oversee preparation of full set of accounts, financial statements, tax computations, and statutory submissions.
  • Provide advisory support on accounting standards, tax compliance, and regulatory matters.
  • Review work performed by junior team members and ensure quality control.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and other external parties as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and deliver value-added services.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Support business development activities by upselling services where appropriate.
  • Ensure all deadlines and reporting obligations are met on time.
  • Stay updated with changes in relevant accounting, tax, and audit regulations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA) is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in an accounting or audit firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards (MPERS/MFRS), SST, and income tax.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and lead a small team.
