Roles & Responsibilities:

·      Verify and approve cases within specific guidelines and Authority limit for all claim type.

·      Monitor productivity of staff and Service Level Agreement.

·      Analyse root cause of deviations in service standard and provide recommendations on service recoveries.

·      Spearhead process improvement to reduce cycle time

·      Coach and support Team Leaders and Team Members to attend enquiries, appeals and complaints.

·      Review claims pending more than 6 months.

·      Analyse trends for fraud prevention

·      Manage complications arising from work, branches and inter-departmental matters.

·      Carry out ad hoc projects/report assigned by superior

·      Conduct training to team, agency and HQ/branches staffs.

·      Carry out assigned KPI

·      Handle complaint case, correspondence from FMOS and BNM within Service Level Agreement

·      Oversee system testing, data cleansing and new product testing.

·      Documentation of improved processes in system training manual, guidelines and operation manual.

·      Redesign work for efficiency and productivity.

·      Maintain staff discipline and ensure that staff carry out their assigned task and keep up with time schedules of job requirements.

·      Advise Management on claims, risk or appeal matter for Management's decision.

·      Liaise with external parties ie regulators, OFS, auditor and etc on inquiries, investigation and complaints

·      Keep abreast with industry practices and participate in relevant workshops and committees at industry level.
