Strategic Business Developer (Offshore)

Whats the role? International Business Development at Hilti is a leadership role that is part of the global Hilti/Oglaend community. As a business developer, you will focus on a portfolio of Global Accounts (EPCs or Owners) important for the Hilti Group. You will own and implement tailored customer strategies and lead their execution to increase adoption of our solutions. Additionally, you will coordinate a worldwide team associated with these accounts.

What does the role involve?

Accountable for the development of global accounts (Owners, EPCs) operating in the Energy sector through account standardization, project specification, sales development (direct or indirect), and multi-level relationship management to increase Hilti/Oglaends share of wallet.

Responsible for developing the strategy for assigned accounts and leading its global implementation with Hilti & Oglaend counterparts.

Ownership of the global project pipeline for accounts and proactive build-up of Hilti/Oglaend capture teams to focus on aligned projects.

Providing market intelligence inputs to global teams to confirm or update corporate segment strategies.

Scope of responsibility is international, with regular travel mainly in Europe.

Maintain effective communication within the team and company, acting as the owner of assigned accounts.

Achieve standards and specifications on assigned accounts by driving system adoption throughout all project phases.

Develop and execute account strategies to maximize Hilti/Oglaend solution penetration and partnership levels.

Support and drive project capture teams.

What you need is:

8+ years of proven success in offshore / Oil & Gas industry.

Ability to define and implement long-term business strategies.

Strategic mindset with innovative problem-solving skills.

Engineering background (Civil and/or Mechanical) with strong commercial or business capabilities.

Experience with large customer accounts and the ability to penetrate various organizational levels.

Confidence and experience in facilitating face-to-face sessions with audiences at all levels.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, stakeholder-rich environment.
