Senior Buying Assistant

The SBA position involves providing strong operational and administrative support to the team, ensuring accuracy in all buying processes, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Job Scope: Intake Management and Tracking:

Chase suppliers on deliveries, update and maintain an accurate intake tracker, and inform the Buyer of potential risks and order movements. PO Raising support:

Troubleshoot with Buying Operations. Review Production Process:

Ensure all stock is visible onsite and accurately represented in pricing, images, and descriptions. Supplier Images:

Request images from suppliers, prepare, and ensure they are provided to the Production team for retouching and uploading. Product Queries:

Resolve all product-related queries from different departments. Report Support:

Assist the Buyer in report creation. Process Improvement:

Develop cross-departmental links to enhance processes and principles. Supply Chain Management:

Assist in managing the supply chain and brand base, building professional relationships with suppliers. Understanding Department Codes and Buying Habits:

Maintain clear understanding of department codes, customer profiles, and changing buying trends. Intake Management:

Drive and manage intake activities, including rephasing and cancellations. Onboarding New Brands:

Assist the Buyer with onboarding new brands, understanding terms and supplier agreements. Range & Season Reviews:

Participate and contribute alongside the Buyer & Planner in reviews. Season and Brand Review Support:
