Job Description

Strategic Financial Leadership & Advisory: Serve as a core member of the regional leadership team, providing expert financial advice for strategic planning and decision-making. This includes implementing group-wide financial initiatives and challenging business directions with data-driven insights.

Comprehensive Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead and coordinate the forecasting and budgeting processes, evaluate the financial impact of business decisions and projects, and manage cost control and expense management. This person will also conduct regular financial analysis and proactively report findings and challenges to leadership.

Oversight of Project Costing & Inventory Management: Ensure accurate accounting for projects, including provisions and liabilities. This involves developing control measures for commercial milestones, reviewing inventory valuation for compliance, and monitoring stock aging and obsolescence provisions.

Treasury & Working Capital Management: Proactively optimize foreign exchange (FX) risks, vet payment terms in commercial contracts, and oversee working capital and cash positions across entities. This includes consolidating and reviewing cash-flow forecasts and managing cash deposits for optimal returns.

Financial Risk Management & Compliance: Manage the financial risk, oversee compliance with internal controls and Delegation of Authority (DoA), and ensure the timely implementation of internal audit findings. This role also involves developing finance skills and providing financial consulting.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Regional Financial Controller Should Have

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA, ICAEW, ACCA, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and complex environment. Experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector is preferred.
