QUANTITY SURVEYOR

About the role

Glory Blitz Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of construction contracts and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. What youll be doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Measure and value construction work, including the preparation of interim and final accounts
• Negotiate and manage construction contracts, subcontracts, and variations
• Prepare and analyse progress reports, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver successful projects
• Provide expert advice and guidance to the team on contractual and commercial matters

What were looking for

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and construction-related tools
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Thorough understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and project management principles
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
