Siemens EDA, a global leader in Electronic Design Automation software, is seeking a ProFPGA Prototyping Application Engineer. Our tools enable the development of innovative electronic products efficiently, supporting complex chip, board, and system design. The role involves working with the proFPGA Product Family, which provides high-performance FPGA-Boards and FPGA-based Prototyping solutions. Our offerings include scalable Single and Multi-FPGA Systems, adaptable and expandable with additional modules featuring the latest FPGA generations and various extensions. Requirements: Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Strong team player with good communication skills Experience with FPGA porting using Vivado, Synplify, or other FPGA synthesis tools Experience with FPGA prototyping platforms like proFPGA, S2C, HAPS, including FPGA compile, runtime, and debug skills Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Tcl, or Makefile Proficiency in English, especially for technical reading and writing Experience with SoC-level FPGA development and debugging Knowledge of multi-FPGA partitioning and timing constraints Experience with high-speed IO applications on Intel (Altera) or Xilinx devices Experience with EDK development on Intel or Xilinx platforms Familiarity with RTL debugging tools like Questa, VCS, Xcelium, Visualizer, or Verdi Why work with us?
