Production Assistant Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure quality, output, and safety targets are met.

• Prepare production reports, investigate line issues, and coordinate solutions.

• Lead, train, and motivate production line staff for optimal performance.

• Manage manpower planning, attendance, shift schedules, and work assignments.

• Provide coverage on the production line during manpower shortages (e.g., absenteeism, emergency leave).

• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve production problems.

• Monitor production KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, food safety, and workplace safety standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related) preferred.

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Production Supervisor or Production Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong written, spoken, and reading skills in English are essential.

• Experience in production reporting, problem-solving, and cross-functional teamwork.

• Hands-on leadership with the ability to step in on the production line when needed.

• Able to work on shift schedule.

• Good people management skills with a focus on teamwork and discipline.

• Knowledge of production systems and safety practices.
