Playground Operation Executive (URGENT)

Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and organized Playground Operation Executive to manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of our recreational facility. This role requires a blend of operational management, customer service, and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of visitors. The successful candidate will work closely with staff, stakeholders, and the community to maintain a fun, safe, and efficient environment for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the playground, including opening and closing, maintaining cleanliness, and addressing equipment issues.

• Staff Supervision: Oversee playground attendants and volunteers, ensuring they are well-trained and follow all safety protocols and customer service standards.

• Safety Compliance: Monitor safety conditions and adhere to safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for visitors at all times.

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues or complaints from visitors.

• Maintenance Coordination: Work with maintenance teams to keep playground equipment in working condition, reporting repairs or updates needed.

• Event Planning: Organize and coordinate special events, activities, and programs for children and families to enhance the playground experience.

• Budget Management: Assist in budgeting and expense tracking, ensuring cost-effective operation of the playground.

• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with parents, local authorities, and the community to foster relationships and promote the playgrounds services and events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in park or recreational facility management, event planning, or a similar role.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle emergencies and ensure the safety of all visitors.

• Familiarity with safety regulations, playground maintenance, and relevant policies.

• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Desirable Skills

• First aid and CPR certification.

• Experience with customer service in a recreational or public-facing environment.

• A passion for community engagement and childrens activities.
