Payroll Operations Lead

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Development : Manage and mentor payroll teams, ensuring proper training, motivation, and alignment with operational objectives to achieve high-performance results.
  • Payroll Operations Oversight : Supervise the end-to-end payroll process for multiple clients across regions, ensuring adherence to local laws, company policies, and industry standards for timely and accurate payroll delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Risk Mitigation : Develop strategies for clear communication with stakeholders, ensuring smooth payroll operations and addressing potential risks by collaborating with IT, external providers, and project managers to resolve issues and maintain quality.
  • Resource & Team Management : Lead and coordinate internal teams and business partners, ensuring effective resource management and collaboration to meet payroll objectives and deliver successful client outcomes.
The Successful Applicant
  • Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in payroll operations, with a focus on BPO or shared services environments.
  • Payroll Expertise: Strong knowledge of payroll systems and experience working with regional payroll regulations and practices, such as in countries like Singapore and other APAC regions.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop payroll teams in a dynamic environment. This role is perfect for a team lead looking to step into a more senior leadership position.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing payroll projects, with the ability to meet deadlines, resolve issues, and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
