Manager Quality Control (Maintenance)

This job involves ensuring properties are clean, safe, and well-maintained for guests. Responsibilities include inspecting units, coordinating repairs, tracking maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will directly impact guest experiences and property quality. Property Inspections & Defect Management Conduct regular and pre-arrival inspections to assess cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness. Identify, document, and prioritize defects such as broken fixtures, paint chips, plumbing, and HVAC issues. Use checklists and audit tools to monitor wear-and-tear and ensure proactive maintenance. Maintenance Oversight Coordinate with technicians and vendors to ensure repairs are completed promptly. Verify quality of repairs and replacements like appliances, lighting, and plumbing. Monitor service requests, work orders, and resolution timelines. Operational Quality Control Ensure units meet safety, functionality, and aesthetic standards. Collaborate with cleaning teams to verify turnover quality and inventory levels. Oversee recurring maintenance tasks such as filter replacements and pest control. Compliance & Safety Ensure properties comply with local safety codes (fire extinguishers, smoke/CO detectors). Monitor for hazards and take corrective actions. Maintain documentation on inspections, certifications, and vendor compliance. Keep detailed logs and reports on unit condition and issues. Provide updates to leadership and recommend operational improvements based on trends. Job Requirements

3+ years in quality control, maintenance, property management, or hospitality. Understanding of short-term rental or Airbnb standards. Knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC). Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, travel between properties, and manage vendors. Proficiency with property management systems, work order, and inspection apps. Skills
